Would a weed gummy make this better?

For some people, using THC, alcohol, or other substances before massage feels like a shortcut to relaxing — or like armor against anxiety or pain. We get that. We're not here to judge how anyone manages their nervous system.
How We Approach It
Trust goes both ways: you're trusting us not to do anything harmful, and we have to trust that you'll signal when something doesn't feel right. Substances that change your judgment, muscle tone, or ability to sense discomfort in real time make that difficult, and are a legally firm contraindication. For your safety and ours, we cannot provide massage when you are actively under the influence of alcohol or substances that impair sensation, communication of or decision-making.
What to Discuss With Your Therapist
Tell your LMT honestly about any medications, THC use, or substances in your system when you arrive. If anxiety or pain is driving the desire to use something first, we can often address that through session pacing, grounding techniques, and gentler pressure from the start.
Between-Session Considerations
If timing your session around recreational use is a concern, reach out before booking and we can talk through the practical options — including what an appropriate clearance window looks like.
